About the role

We are looking for a professional with solid hands-on experience in Appian development capable of designing implementing and maintaining scalable business applications in collaborative and enterprise-grade environments.

The selected candidate will work closely with technical teams and business stakeholders contributing to the implementation of digital solutions integrations with external systems and process automation initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Develop configure and maintain applications using Appian
• Participate in the design and implementation of business workflows and process automation solutions
• Integrate Appian applications with external systems using REST and/or SOAP services
• Work with relational databases and write SQL queries to support application logic and data integration
• Analyse business and technical requirements and translate them into Appian-based solutions
• Support testing deployment and troubleshooting activities
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams in hybrid or remote delivery models
• Ensure quality maintainability and performance of developed solutions
• Contribute to documentation and knowledge sharing within the project team

Requirements

• At least 3 years of experience in Appian development and implementation
• Hands-on experience with Appian components interfaces process models records rules and integrations
• Experience integrating with external services through REST and/or SOAP APIs
• Knowledge of relational databases and SQL
• Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions
• Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Autonomy responsibility and a proactive mindset
• Good communication skills and ability to work in collaborative environments
• Previous experience in banking or financial services contexts

Nice to have

• Appian certification
• Experience with complex workflow automation projects
• Knowledge of Agile delivery methodologies
• Experience with CI/CD or release management processes
• Understanding of security access control and compliance requirements in regulated environments
• Experience working with distributed or international teams
