AI Solutions Tech Lead

About the Role

At Symplifyr were expanding into applied AI for business processes building solutions that combine automation integrations and AI models. Were looking for an AI Solutions Tech Lead to technically lead our emerging AI implementation practice acting as the internal technical reference and as a senior client-facing voice.

This is a cross-functional role. Youll be involved in discovery and solution design with clients guide the team through execution define stack and best practices and actively contribute to new business through your technical expertise.

Tasks

What Youll Do

• Lead technical discovery with clients: understand the business problem map current processes identify AI/automation opportunities and design architectures that are both realistic and ambitious
• Participate in project planning and estimation ensuring technical feasibility and alignment with client expectations
• Technically lead the implementation team mentoring juniors and seniors on solution design code reviews architecture decisions and tooling adoption
• Continuously bring new ideas: models AI frameworks automation tools emerging patterns and help the team grow technically
• Manage multiple projects in parallel acting as the senior technical point of contact with clients
• Present solutions to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Identify upsell and expansion opportunities within existing accounts in collaboration with the commercial team

Requirements

Who Were Looking For

Were open to Senior profiles (5 years) or Lead/Principal (8 years) as long as the experience demonstrates technical maturity and leadership capability.

Essential Technical Skills

• Cloud services and cloud-native architecture design
• Hands-on experience with AI solutions in production with the judgment to choose the right approach for each problem (not everything needs an LLM)
• Familiarity with the AI platform and API ecosystem (Anthropic OpenAI Azure AI Hugging Face and equivalents) including model selection criteria around cost latency and data privacy
• Strong integration and automation skills: REST APIs webhooks and tools like n8n Make Logic Apps with the ability to decide between build vs. integrate
• Full-stack development experience with a modern stack
• Familiarity with DevOps practices CI/CD and infrastructure as code

Leadership & Client Skills

• Proven experience leading technical teams as Tech Lead Engineering Manager or equivalent
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and clients simultaneously across varying levels of technical maturity
• Comfortable in business stakeholder conversations able to translate problems into solutions and solutions into value
• Consultative mindset: identify opportunities propose approaches and challenge requirements when it makes sense

Nice to Have

• Experience in consulting or client-facing project environments
• Knowledge of MLOps production model monitoring or systematic evaluation of AI output quality
