Accounting Trainee

Were looking for a detail-oriented and organized Accounting Trainee to join our Finance team in Lisboa this entry-level position you will gain hands-on experience in accounting operations while supporting our accounting department with essential financial tasks. • Assist with processing accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions
• Support the maintenance and reconciliation of general ledger accounts
• Prepare and verify financial documents invoices and expense reports
• Perform accurate data entry and maintain detailed financial records
• Assist with month-end and year-end closing procedures under supervision
• Support the preparation of financial reports and statements
• Help organize and file accounting documentation in compliance with company standards
• Assist with audit preparation activities and document gathering
• Learn and apply fundamental accounting principles and practices
• Communicate effectively with team members and other departments regarding accounting matters

Qualifications :

• Degree Accounting
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and general computer applications
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Ability to analyze financial data and identify discrepancies
• Basic understanding of accounting principles and practices
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
