Key Responsibilities

• Financial Recordkeeping: Maintain accurate financial records including A/P A/R and ledger entries adhering to accounting principles and company policies.

• Financial Reporting: Assist in preparing financial statements and reports for stakeholders ensuring regulatory compliance and data accuracy for decision-making.

• Month-End and Year-End Close: Reconcile accounts analyze variances and prepare adjusting entries to support smooth financial closing processes.

• Audit Support: Coordinate internal and external audits by preparing schedules providing documentation and responding to auditor inquiries.

• Compliance and Controls: Ensure adherence to accounting standards and internal policies; identify control weaknesses and propose process improvements.

• Financial Analysis: Analyze financial data and variances to identify trends assess performance and provide actionable insights to management.

• Systems and Process Improvement: Evaluate and implement improvements in financial systems to enhance operational efficiency and reporting accuracy.

• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with departments like treasury and procurement to ensure accurate data exchange and resolve discrepancies.

• Professional Development: Maintain proficiency in accounting standards and best practices through continuous training and professional updates.

Qualifications :

• Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance or a related field.

• Proven experience in accounting and billing and invoicing roles.

• Familiarity with accounting software and Microsoft Excel.

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

• Excellent organisational and time-management skills.

• Fluent in English

• Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.

• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced tech environment.
