A Subject Matter Expert (SME) provides specialized knowledge and expertise in a specific field industry product process or technology. The SME supports teams by offering guidance solving complex problems validating information and ensuring best practices and standards are followed.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide expert knowledge and technical guidance in the assigned subject area.
- Support project teams with research analysis and recommendations.
- Review processes documents and deliverables for accuracy and compliance.
- Develop training materials documentation and knowledge resources.
- Collaborate with stakeholders managers and cross-functional teams.
- Identify risks gaps and improvement opportunities within processes or systems.
- Assist in decision-making by providing data-driven insights and expertise.
- Stay updated on industry trends regulations and emerging technologies.
- Participate in meetings workshops and client consultations as the expert representative.
- Mentor team members and provide knowledge transfer support.
Qualifications :
Required Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in a relevant field (Masters degree preferred in some industries).
- Proven experience in the relevant domain or industry.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
- Ability to explain complex concepts to technical and non-technical audiences.
