Overview:

Key Responsibilities:

• Utilize virtual reality technology to simulate surgical procedures for training purposes
• Assist in developing and implementing virtual reality tools for surgical planning and navigation
• Provide virtual realitybased patient consultation to explain surgical procedures and expected outcomes
• Collaborate with medical teams to integrate virtual reality into surgical workflows
• Conduct research to advance the use of virtual reality in surgical interventions
• Offer expertise and training to medical staff on virtual reality tools and techniques
• Ensure the accuracy and effectiveness of virtual reality simulations for educational and planning purposes
• Stay updated on the latest advancements in virtual reality technology and its applications in surgery
• Participate in multidisciplinary teams to improve patient outcomes through virtual reality usage

Required Qualifications:

• Medical degree with specialization in a surgical discipline
• Board certification in the relevant surgical specialty
• Extensive experience as a practicing surgeon preferably with experience in using virtual reality technology
• Demonstrated expertise in virtual reality applications for surgical training and planning
• Strong knowledge of anatomy and surgical procedures
• Excellent manual dexterity and handeye coordination
• Outstanding problemsolving skills in highpressure surgical environments
• Effective communication skills to convey complex medical information to patients and colleagues
• Ability to work collaboratively in a teambased healthcare setting
• Adaptability to integrate new technologies into surgical practice
