Hybrid onsite in Dallas or Salt Lake City (Salt Lake City preferred) Hybrid Onsite 3 days/week 2 days/remote

MUST HAVE:

Storage Software Engineer Infrastructure as code developer that understands infrastructure

Rubrik EMC Networker EMC Data Domain EMC VNX and VMAX Hitachi HDS Overall project: support core card build out separate piece of work to build out this environment individuals would be part of the storage or compute team allocated to this project full time to do this work decommissioning their build out beef up their infra team to support their day to day while they decommission cord card product.

Responsibilities:
The Storage Development is seeking experienced Tools Developers to work in a vibrant exciting environment to create
tools to enable and optimize production platforms. The desired applicant will be a selfstarter interested in working in a
busy and dynamic environment where quality attention to detail customer service and a professional manner are
essential values. The ideal candidate will be proficient in developing featurecomplete toolsets across many different
disciplines.
The responsibilities of the position include the design and implementation of new tools to automation and integration of
storage provisioning problem resolution capacity reporting configuration management and performance
management.
The candidate must also be able to communicate with other departments to improve existing tools and determine new
solutions ensure the consistent and errorfree operation of all tools and introduce new frameworks to accelerate
development lifecycles.
SKILLS & EXPERIENCEWERE LOOKING FOR

Required Qualifications

1. 2 years of experience in software development
2. Experience with automated unit and integration testing
3. Previous experience with RESTful web services
4. Proven work experience in Java or other JVM based language development.
5. Excellent object oriented or functional analysis and design skills.
6. Bachelors degree (U.S. or foreign equivalent) in Information Technology Computer Information Systems
7. Computer Science or equivalent professional experience.
8. Effective communication analytical and troubleshooting skills.
9. Preferred Qualifications
10. TestDriven Development and BehaviorDriven Development
11. Understanding of block storage
12. Good understanding of enterprise level change incident and problem management processes.
13. Automation utilizing scripting languages like bash Python and/or Perl.
14. Understanding of how to troubleshoot basic Unix/Linux problems.
