Sr Sales Account Executive for global freight forwarding company

Our client one of the leading global NVOCC freight forwarding companies provides customers with import and export services as well as doortodoor services for both international and domestic clients is seeking a Sr. Sales Executive to be a part of Companys growth by building a strong pipeline of new opportunities and maintaining a customer base.

The ideal candidate should have:

• 5 years of freight forwarding business development/outside sales experience.
• Specialization in the Transpacific South or West Asia market.
• Possesses a book of business in international ocean air and/or customs brokerage.
• Demonstrated hunter mentality to continuously bring in new business opportunities.

Day to day responsibilities:

• Offer entire supply chain solution through Companys ocean air warehousing & distribution LTL & FTL transportation cargo insurance and customs brokerage services.
• Consult clients on the complexities of their supply chain using your expertise shipping various commodities to different geographic markets.
• Recognize and understand freight forwarding business opportunities through professional networking and market research.
• Partner with internal subject matter experts to become well educated in all company products and services.
• Utilize Sugar (CRM) to track clients key information build and maintain sales pipeline and measure KPIs.
• Work closely with the sales support team by reviewing quotes to ensure the clients needs are met
• Travel to meet clients in person within assigned territory.
• Maintain consistent communication with other departments and overseas offices.
• Monitor international freight forwarding market trends and conditions.

Hours: Monday Friday: 9:00 am6:00 pm EST (Hybrid)
