Title: Solution Architect - MVNO with OSS/BSS

Locations: Denver, CO (Day 1 onsite)

Responsibilities

• Create and own business, functional, and application architecture designs to support customers MVNO Retail business strategies.
• Participate in client requirements gathering, business process meetings, functional architecture design sessions, etc. for the purpose of supporting the system development, implementation, and delivery activities for MVNO related projects.
• Serve as a liaison with management, sales & marketing, and other software architecture groups to align systems development and architecture activities with client needs and the overall strategic business direction as it relates to MVNO solutions.
• Rollout of MVNO in Retail
• Understanding of Retail processes and platform implementation
• Work with the Software Engineering team in the development of the technical components/frameworks necessary to support the application solution for MVNO capabilities.
• Act as a team member on various project teams working on MVNO related delivery to communicate goals, create and approve designs, and review final work product for accuracy and adherence to vision and overall direction.
• Participate in various presentations, calls, demonstrations, and other activities to understand and define client requirements, articulate and design system solutions, and create solution proposal estimates related to MVNO.
• Track and communicate status on an ongoing basis

Skills and Qualifications

• Must have proven system development or system integration experience with multiple client relationships.
• Strong background and experience in understanding the MVNO/MVNE operating model in a retail environment, business challenges, and required business support systems.
• Deep working experience and domain knowledge with MNOs, MSOs, and MVNO companies.
• Strong desire to remain involved with actually creating architecture documentation such as business, functional, and application architecture designs. This includes detailed functional specification such as business process definition, use case definition, and workflow modeling.
• Comprehensive experience and understanding of multiple aspects of business and network operations of telecommunications, mobile wireless, and data service providers.
• Demonstrated understanding of object oriented design and web solution architecture.
• Proven communication and team leadership experience.
• Experience in system implementation, architecture design, or business evaluation within the Billing, CRM, and Service Delivery, OSS/BSS, and ERP market of the communications software/solutions sector.
• Experience with security or working knowledge of security practices.
• Ability to quickly understand and interpret customer problems and navigate complex customer technical organizations.
• Must be organized, have a sense of urgency, and able to set, communicate and meet aggressive deadlines and milestones.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, and be able move easily from one level of detail to another

Preferred Qualifications:

• Cable or Wireless Industry.
• Experience with TOGAF or similar architecture frameworks
• Educational Qualifications:
• BS degree or equivalent work experience
