Our client is a retail chain startup for basic groceries with strong financial resources that will change the retail market in Nigeria.
The Company is seeking to hire a highly experienced Social Media Manager to drive and deliver on its product and digital marketing strategy and goals.
Job Objective: The Social Media Manager will oversee the daytoday tasks such as managing social media accounts developing and implementing social media marketing strategies creating engaging content and optimizing social media presence.
The Ideal candidate must be able to provide social media campaign insight and regular reporting along with having experience managing social media campaigns across different markets.
Key Responsibilities shall include but not be limited to:
Design implement and oversee paid social campaigns to enhance engagement and execute comprehensive digital and social strategies.
Manage community engagement across all social media platforms.
Contribute to the development of social media strategies across different product categories.
Strategize and execute organic and paid social media initiatives.
Collaborate creatively with internal commercial team to generate content concepts.
Analyze campaign performance and provide actionable insights on effectiveness.
Stay abreast of social trends integrating them into strategies and sharing insights with the team.
Execute tasks autonomously and as part of a team ensuring the digital marketing objectives are met.
Initiate and oversee paid media initiatives.
Demonstrate proficiency in content creation.
Analyze social media data and insights to track performance and make recommendations for improvement.
5 years of proven work experience as a Social Media Manager or similar role
Strong understanding of social media platforms and their respective audiences
Proficiency in managing LinkedIn Instagram Facebook and X.
Familiarity with scheduling and reporting tools such as Hootsuite Later Hubspot Google Analytics etc.
Strong skills in social media analytics and reporting.
Previous experience with paid media campaigns is imperative.
Understanding of sales funnel strategies in paid social campaigns to optimize conversion rates and ROI.
Abundance of creative ideas and exceptional communication skills.
Eagerness to learn with meticulous attention to detail.
Positive teamoriented demeanor with the ability to meet deadlines in a fastpaced multiclient environment.
Interest in emerging technologies such as AI.
