Young, growing project management team is in need of an experienced senior project manager. Initial opportunity is to come in and cross train with team, learn principles and assist in managing larger project contracts. Ideal candidate will be one who is looking for leadership opportunity, with progress into department management responsible overall project team execution, training and development of PM and associate PM team. Additional responsibilities include department level project P&L, supervision and consolidated reporting to senior management. Ability to offer project team oversight and development and training is desired in this position. Continuous improvement of process, planning and team development are expected at the management level. For the right candidate conversion to a permanent position will be planned from the outset of this position. Demonstrated success in the position will secure a conversion plan.
Starting responsibilities are to manage internal Customer Service projects to be conducted in time, quality and cost.
Adhere to the guidelines and deploys all (or specific) methods to optimally achieve the project goals (e.g. planning controlling, reporting, claim management, risk management, management of internal and external stakeholders ...).
Contribute to organizational learning by conducting lessons learned, continuous improvement and sharing information with the Customer Service organization.
Adheres to respective guidelines (e.g. tax regulations, Export Control, EHS).

Role will be involved in the negotiation and planning of projects to ensure the achievement of the project goals at an early stage. Financial performance and business risk expected to be identified and addressed. Facilitates the execution of project/program solution plan for clearly defined sub-projects or sub-programs. Responsible for delivery of results for the respective process steps. May guide technical or administrative staff. Acts as a functional process resource on projects or programs. Contributes to continuous improvement plan.
Role will perform active role in maintaining functionally focused client relationships.
Successful candidate must be able to perform in a multi-tasked, high stress environment. Experience using Microsoft 365 apps including PowerBI and Power apps a strong plus. SAP experience a plus. Microsoft Project experience desired.
Demonstrated success leading projects, or teams, or both desired.
