Construction Project Manager

A reputable construction company is seeking a highly motivated Construction Project Manager to join our growing team. In this role you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of construction projects from preconstruction planning to final handover for a variety of building types including offices industrial facilities groundup construction renovations and retail spaces. Projects will range in size from $500000 to $15 million.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with architects engineers and subcontractors to develop and implement project plans
  
• Create and manage detailed project schedules and budgets
  
• Secure necessary permits and licenses
  
• Oversee the procurement of materials and equipment
  
• Manage and coordinate subcontractor activities
  
• Conduct regular site inspections to ensure quality and adherence to plans
  
• Monitor project progress and identify and mitigate potential risks
  
• Manage project budgets and ensure costeffective completion
  
• Prepare and deliver project reports to stakeholders
  
• Maintain a safe work environment and ensure compliance with all safety regulations
  
• Excellent communication interpersonal and problemsolving skills
  

Requirements

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Construction Management Civil Engineering or a related field (preferred)
  
• 35 years of experience in construction project management
  
• Experience in commercial projects such as : metal buildings offices industrial retail and similar.
  
• Managing projects from $ 500k up to $ 20 Million in value
• Proven track record of successfully delivering projects on time and within budget
  
• Experience in a variety of building types including office industrial groundup construction renovations and retail (a plus)
  
• Strong understanding of construction methods and materials
  
• Proficient in project management software (e.g. Primavera MS Project)
  
• Excellent communication written and verbal skills
  
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  
• Valid drivers license
