Job Description
Are you a passionate and experienced WordPress developer who can create stunning and accessible websites? Do you have a keen eye for design and performance optimization? Do you have a business-minded and solution-oriented approach to your work? If you answered yes to these questions, then we have an exciting opportunity for you!
We are looking for a partner who can work with us on several projects in the future. You will be responsible for developing custom WordPress themes and plugins, following coding standards and best practices, and ensuring cross-browser compatibility and web performance optimization. You will also collaborate with other developers and designers using version control systems and agile workflows.
To be considered for this position, you should have the following qualifications:
- 8-10 years of experience in web development or a relevant education background (AMK & University)
- Proficient in PHP programming, configuration and WP best practices
- Ability to define and create custom post types and taxonomies
- Experience with developing custom themes and plugins
- Proficiency in troubleshooting and resolving advanced WordPress issues
- Familiarity with website layout and design principles
- Ability to follow and define coding standards and best practices
- Knowledge of responsive web design principles
- Understanding of cross-browser compatibility and web performance optimization
- Understanding of accessibility principles and how to implement accessible services
- Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and collaborative development workflows
- Write clean, readable, and maintainable code
- Good understanding of Web network principles and concepts, APIs etc.
