Job Description
Description of the position: Senior Security Project Engineer
A Senior Security Project Engineer with extensive expertise is needed to join our team. You will be a vital part of design, implementation, and management of security solutions a Senior Security Project Engineer. You will take the lead in organizing and carrying out security projects and driving our security initiatives and upholding a strong security posture will need the use of your experience in security engineering, and security project management, and security assurance in projects.
Responsibilities:
Manage all phases of a projects lifecycle, including planning, estimating costs, allocating resources, executing and contacting stakeholders.
Oversee the development, optimization and administration of security solutions for projects.
Identify risks, weaknesses, and potential threats, conduct thorough projects.
Create and implement security standards, processes, and policies in compliance with MAS TRM and industry best practices.
Integrate security controls and measures into systems and infrastructure by working with cross-functional teams.
Work in coordination with outside suppliers and partners to guarantee the smooth completion of security initiatives.
Junior team members should receive technical mentoring and advice to foster professional development.
Prepare and present thorough project reports and progress to key audiences, such as reporting and senior management.
Requirements:
Degree in computer science, information security, or a related subject.
Certificates like GDSA / TOGAF / SABSA / CISSP.
7 years of experience in security project management, as well as demonstrated experience as a security engineer.
Familiarity with industry security frameworks and regulations (such as ISO 27001, NIST, PCI DSS and MAS TRM).
Strong interpersonal and communication abilities, with the capacity to work successfully with stakeholders and establish connections.
Leadership qualities and the capacity to guide and mentor the team members.
Capacity to coordinate several tasks with competing priorities.
Strong technical proficiency in the concepts of security engineering, including Network Security (FW / IPS / Anti-DDoS), Endpoint Protection, Encryption, WAF / CDN/ DNS, Proxy, DLP, SIEM and Vulnerability Management.
It is preferred that candidates have knowledge of cloud security and experience securing cloud settings (such as AWS).
