Our client is a renowned internationally operating engineering consultancy focused on developing HW & SW projects for clients mainly in the hightech sector. The emphasis on developing inhouse whereas full project responsibility is taken. Solutions are developed for various application areas such as medical imaging and devices video and image processing and industrial automation.

The role
FPGA development on an advanced level with VHDL and/or Verilog with a focus on lowlatency and high dataload applications. Use of technologies such as HLS (High Level Synthesis) and more intensive use of readymade IP blocks to accelerate the development process. Combined FPGA / CPU development often using homebrewn System on Module products. Depending on the application area you will have to emphasize and balance speed safety and reliability. You can be involved in the full product development lifecycle.
What we ask
- A Bsc or Msc in Electronics or Computer Engineering or a related field
- At least 5 years experience with VHDL and/or Verilog
- Experience with various FPGAs from different vendors (Xilinx Intel etc.)
- Experience developing solutions for a wide range of industries and applications
- Experience with high (data) load systems / HLS and lowlatency applications
- Experience with full development cycle including testing and verification
- Knowledge of modern build pipelines (CI/CD) and development methodologies
- Knowledge of HW/SW integration
- Programming skills (C C Python) considered a strong plus
