Senior Finance Officer

• Assisting in the preparation of management account on or before workday 10 of every
  
• Assist in preparation of the stand-alone/ group financial statements
  
• Assist in the preparation of the Group s annual
  
• Providing accurate analysis to aid better
  
• Providingsupporttoanyotherprojectrelated assignmentsasrequired bytheFinance Controller/CF finance department input for weekly management report
  
• Monthlyreconciliationof provisions (including expected credit loss impairment) & accruals includingsalaryandwagescontrol accountandDirectors controlaccoun
  
• Monthlyreconciliationofadvancepaymentswithtradepayables
  
• Monthlyreconciliationofinterestpayables
  
• Monthlyreconciliationofloanscheduleandloanbalances
  
• Monitoring of the monthly financial close checklis
  
• Ensure all project related costs are recorded accurately within the project entity
  
• Ensureall accruals arebookedandmonitoredmonthlybeforeworkday7ofthenewmon
  
• Preparation ofall balance sheet schedules for statutory audit purpose
  
• Liaison with external auditors on all their queries and reviews
  
• Ensureallforeignbalancesaretranslated at the prevailing closing rateseverymonth
  
• Maintain an updated FA register outside the ERP and update monthly FA schedule
  
• Reconcile financial Information on FA register (Cost, Deprecation, Accumulated depreciation and NBV) to the general ledger on the
  
• Monthly depreciation run for all fixed asset on the ERP
  
  

Requirements

• in Accounting or related discipline
  
• ICAN, ACA or ACCA certification is Candidates in-view (professional stage) will be
  
• Knowledge of MS Dynamics/SAP will be a plus
  
• Strong experience/knowledge in financial Reporting, IFRS and Nigerian tax law is required
  
• Oil and Gas /Power experience is an added advantage
