Job Title : Senior Communications Specialist 10741

Assignment Duration: 3 months may extend to a year
Hours: 15-20 hours a week candidates can work remotely

Essential Duties and responsibilities:
  • The Senior Communications Specialist will develop and execute communication pilot plans in the areas of benefits and compensation.
  • The Senior Communications Specialist will work alongside multiple stakeholders to execute pilots and provide guidance.
  • The Senior Communications Specialist will need to understand production plants to target the audience of production workers who are not wired.
  • The Senior Communications Specialist will also provide guidance to Human Resource professionals and stakeholders outside of production.
  • The Senior Communications Specialist will create a "walking deck" power point to distribute and educate.
  • Program Level Communications Framework
  • Partnership between Global Communications on developing alternative ways to pilot getting information to the production population and then testing those methods at pilot sites.
  • Benefits can provide a recommendation on what to pilot in the framework Examples: translations, operating model (such as boots on the ground), and other.
  • Benefits (including Family Care) be an initiative to pilot, including material development.
  • Measurement of effectiveness of current practices (including evaluation of possible root cause such as technology challenges ) and then of pilot practices.
  • Execute communication plan for pilot efforts including key messages and benefit to plant stakeholders.
  • Finalization of kick off deck for pilot sites (Initiative information added to program level template; goal to reuse information where possible).
  • Partnering and communicating material for identified stakeholders.
  • Develop communication and EDUCATION plan, to support changes to the governance model to ensure stakeholder understanding.
  • Benefit Education methodology to educate production employees about benefits
  • Evaluation of benefit information within onboarding platform.
  • Evaluate opportunities for "Just In Time" communication, and Open Enrollment.
  • Creating additional pilots- Develop communication and marketing material to support pilots
  • Parental Leave, partnership with Family CareTuition / Education support.

Minimum Education Required: Bachelor's degree in journalism or communications

Other Required Experience/Qualifications:

  • 5-10 years corporate communications experience
  • Preferably in internal communications with a focus on benefits and compensation

Preferred Experience/Qualifications:

  • Experience doing communications for production plant or non-wired employees.
