Senior Android Software Engineer- Remote- Romania

Requirements

• Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to define design and ship new applications as well as update existing applications on the Android platform.
  
• Develop robust Android applications and software components from conception through to deployment utilizing the Android SDK.
  
• Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability across a variety of Android devices.
  
• Implement BSP and HAL for integration with different hardware components ensuring optimal performance and compatibility.
  
• Engage in the entire app lifecycle right from concept stage until delivery and postlaunch support.
  
• Innovate and apply the latest technologies processes and tools to keep the technology stack modern and competitive.
  
• Ensure all codes are well documented and maintain the highest code quality and organization.
  
• Actively participate in troubleshooting debugging and updating application functionalities.
  
• Maintain continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) environments tailored towards a robust Android ecosystem.
  

• Bachelor s or Master s degree in Computer Science Software Engineering or a related field.
  
• At least 3 years of professional experience in Android application development.
  
• Strong knowledge of Android SDK different versions of Android and how to deal with different screen sizes.
  
• Proficiency in Java C/C and familiarity with RESTful APIs to connect Android applications to backend services.
  
• Experienced with Android GUI frameworks and concepts e.g. activities fragments and services.
  
• Deep understanding of BSP HAL and the overall Android architecture.
  
• Excellent problemsolving skills with the ability to debug complex systems and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  
• Experience with performance and memory tuning tools.
  
• Strong understanding of design principles for a scalable application.
  
• Effective team player with strong communication skills capable of working in a globally distributed team environment.
