SalesForce Senior Specialist/Specialist

Job summary:

Support and resolve application/technical issues, review user/business requirements and the effective use of SalesForce Applications, enhancing configurations to deliver solutions and designs with high service levels

General responsibilities:

Support superior in managing day-to-day operating expenditures against operating budgets to ensure efficient usage of resources

Provide problem determination, resolution of application/technical issues within the service level expectations set

Provide support and solutions to better utilize current Sales Force systems in meeting user requirements, service and change requests

Develop and maintain business continuity plans for identified critical applications to ensure business continuity. Conduct training and application demonstrations for business users

Maintain internal processes, quality standards and documentation to ensure compliance with regulatory standards/audits

Ensure adherence of IT application development/deliverables within global templates and established standards

Share IT best practice within Company

Develop and maintain Sales Force support processes/procedures in ensuring adherence to service level agreements and objectives

Resolve IT Application issues and escalate complex issues in a timely manner, according to service level agreements and objectives

Communicate user needs and priorities

Provide support and ensure adherence to service levels

Leadership responsibilities:

Drive self-learning and improvement in the area of IT Applications and Company behaviors as part of continuous learning

Requirements

Functional skills and knowledge:

Salesforce Developer with experience in Custom Development.

Experience in Administration, Configuration, Apex, Visualforce,

Experience in integrating Salesforce with back end ERP systems like SAP

Proficient in designing components using objects & fields, roles, page layouts, visual force pages, apex classes, controllers and triggers, workflow , REST API , SOAP API , Process Builder for automating or integrating with different business processes and various other custom aura components as per client & application requirements

Good programming knowledge in Java & Database

Experience with data modelling and databases, data integrations and migrations (ETL)

Leverage deep knowledge of the Salesforce platform to develop integrations to/from other systems, including consuming or exposing REST/SOAP APIs, industry standards such as OAuth2/SAML, and complementary technology platforms or tools

Conduct design & code reviews

Collaborate with other team members to build highly customized, scalable and complex software solutions using the latest technologies (Git, CI/CD, Salesforce Cloud solutions, etc)

Participate in design discussions with clients - Business & technical teams

Salesforce Certification Platform Developer 1 & Platform Developer 2.

Education:

Bachelors degree in Computing/Information Technology or equivalent

Work experience:

Up to five years experience in similar role
