Job Description:

We are seeking a freelance strategist with exceptional creativity and strategic insight to assist us in developing a new company name. As we embark on a rebranding or launch a new venture the name plays a pivotal role in defining our identity and establishing our presence in the market.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct indepth research and analysis of industry trends competitors target audience demographics and cultural nuances to inform the naming process.

Collaborate remotely with key stakeholders including founders executives and marketing teams to understand the companys vision values and strategic objectives.

Generate a diverse range of name options that encapsulate the brand identity evoke desired emotions and resonate with the target audience.

Develop clear naming criteria and evaluation frameworks to assess the suitability availability and scalability of proposed names.

Conduct thorough trademark and domain availability searches to ensure legal and digital compatibility of chosen names.

Present name recommendations virtually to leadership teams providing rationale and supporting evidence for each proposed option.

Iterate and refine name concepts based on remote feedback and stakeholder input ensuring alignment with brand strategy and market positioning.

Coordinate with legal and intellectual property specialists as needed to secure trademarks and registrations for selected names.

Requirements

Qualifications:

Proven experience in brand strategy naming or creative direction with a strong portfolio showcasing successful naming projects.

Deep understanding of branding principles naming conventions and trademark laws with a track record of delivering innovative and memorable brand names.
