Job Description
A National leader in the custom home building industry is looking for a General Production Manager in Louisville KY to help direct their New Home Construction operations.
An ideal candidate must possess a strong work ethic problemsolving skills and knowledge of residential construction. Someone from/familiar with the Louisville KY area & knows the local vendors/subs/etc to acclimate more quickly to the operations.
This company is looking for the right person with high energy and leadership that will constantly be driving the Production & construction processes while helping the company develop this new market.
Here is the basic breakdown of their approach to managing all aspects of the construction operations:
PRODUCTION MANAGER PM RESPONSIBILITIES
Other duties to stay on top of things:
- Field operations oversight (client/customer calls sales items material deliveries site meetings etc.)
- Manager sitewalks
- Job inspections
- Drafting file reviews
- Plan reviews
- Negotiate with subs and suppliers
- Review project/job budgets & cost margins
- Field customer questions & concerns
- Obtain Permits for Building Consultants
- Inspection scheduling
