Electrical Estimator - Light Commercial And Residential

My client is a leading provider of electrical services for both light commercial and residential clients. Job Description:

We seek a motivated experienced FullTime Estimator to join our team. As an Estimator you will be responsible for accurately assessing project costs and providing competitive bids for electrical installations and services. This position offers a base salary of up to $75000 per year with an unlimited commission plan and additional benefits including a company vehicle gas card and onehalf of the cost of health insurance.

Responsibilities:

Review project specifications blueprints and other documentation to understand the scope of work.

Conduct onsite visits to assess project requirements identify potential challenges and gather relevant information.

Prepare detailed cost estimates for materials labor and equipment needed for electrical projects.

Collaborate with project managers contractors and clients to clarify project details and address concerns.

Develop competitive bid proposals and present them to potential clients professionally.

Negotiate contract terms and pricing with clients to secure new business opportunities.

Track and manage project estimates budgets and expenses throughout the project lifecycle.

Stay informed about industry trends regulations and best practices related to electrical estimating.

Requirements:

Proven experience as an Estimator in the electrical industry preferably in light commercial and residential settings.

Strong knowledge of electrical systems components and installation methods.

Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints drawings and technical specifications.

Excellent mathematical and analytical skills for accurately calculating project costs.

Effective communication and negotiation skills for interacting with clients vendors and team members.

Ability to prioritize tasks meet deadlines and work efficiently in a fastpaced environment.

Valid drivers license and clean driving record.

Willingness to travel to project sites and work flexible hours as needed.
