Senior Tax Manager

Our client is seeking a fulltime Senior Tax Manager with Trust and Estate experience to join their growing team! This exciting opportunity is open to hybrid; only NJ/NYC area candidates will be considered.

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

• Be a leader within the Private Client Service/Estate and Trust practice of the Firm
• Develop supervise and mentor members of the Private Client Service/Estate and Trust team
• Coordinating tax compliance and planning responsibilities for our multistate environment
• Maintaining visibility in the Estate and Trust community
• Maintaining existing business relationships and cultivating new ones
• Maintaining relationships with and advising clients in Estate and Trust matters
• Perform extensive tax compliance research consulting and planning for individual fiduciary notforprofit (private foundation) gift and estate tax

Requirements:

• Bachelors or Masters degree in Accounting or related field required
• CPA or EA preferably
• MST a plus
• Minimum 7 to 10 years of experience with a public accounting and/or professional services firm or law firm

Skills/Knowledge:

• Significant experience providing gift and estate planning strategies to highnetworth clients
• Significant experience in working with estate tax gift tax and fiduciary income tax returns;
• Knowledge of fiduciary accounting concepts
• Technical expertise in relevant areas
• Ability to provide seamless integrated services to clients
• Strong project management skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
