Responsibilities:
Subject Matter Expert for assigned equipment and "owner" of equipment
Debugging / optimizing automated cells Pneumatics, sensors & Servos
Primary interface between equipment supplier, customer SME, and Flex support groups
Provides deliverables as noted in project requirements for SME (checklist)
Executes plan in accordance to schedule
Maintains a Master Automation Action Item List for all equipment in assigned phase
Monitors project schedule, provides updates to ENG MGR and Master Scheduler
Identifies key milestones, notifies ENG MGR and Master Scheduler
Reviews URS, monitors suppliers' adherence during build
Writes URS for equipment sourced by Flex
Maintains Action Item list for all Flex assigned activity on assigned equipment
Monitors Action Item Lists for supplier activities, elevates concerns as necessary
Organizes and directs Flex team while on site at machine builder and during installation and commissioning at Flex
Directs Manufacturing Engineer during build phase to complete operating processes and work instructions
Directs Engineering Tech during build phase to identify technical processes
Supports Validation Engineer as needed
Responsible to Automation Project Manager
