- Develop clear understanding of the JMSP project and become well acquainted with the SWM component, its objectives, main plans and updates of the work performed so far;
- In coordination with the SWM Specialist, review current SWM status and practices in the 12 targeted municipalities to create clear understanding of their context and constraints;
- In coordination with the SWM Specialist, develop weekly plans to assist the SWM specialist in the implementation of individual activities related SWM in each field and ensures compliance with plans and regulations and work/coordinate closely with the Initiatives Specialist on the development, design and implementation of the initiatives;
- Provide regular follow up and support to the efficient implementation of SWM activities in the field;
- Provide regular feedback and reports to the SWM Specialists on the progress of the work and challenges that may be encountered and provide recommendations, as needed;
- With JMSP team, support the project’s community engagement activities and assist in the building of synergy with relevant municipality officials and partners;
- Provide administrative and operation support in the implementation of SWM related activities;
- Assist in developing and elaborating SWM related Terms of Reference;
- Follow-up and coordinate, on a daily basis, with municipalities, the field team and JMSP technical leads to assure smooth implementation of administrative and operational activities of the SWM component and on behavioural change related activities;
