Job Description

- Responsible for the smooth running of the day to day fleet & procurement operations including line managing the Fleet & procurement Officers and liaise with field logistics and programme staff to ensure timely delivery of the requested services
- Ensure local procurement conducted complies with NRC and donor procurement policies & procedures, conducting regular sport checks of procurement files to ensure said compliance.
- Source appropriate suppliers in the local market for the procurement of goods and/or services based on specifications by the programme or support staff.
- Conduct regular market surveys and support with supplier pre-qualification for commonly purchased goods and services, maintaining an up to date supplier database with key supplier information.
- Establish and maintain good professional working relationship with supplier, service providers and contractors whilst strictly adhering to NRC anti-corruption guidelines and NRC's Code of Conduct.
- Work with the Logistics Coordinator & Fleet Officer to optimize safety and cost effectiveness across the Irbid Office fleet.
