Job Description:

The Logistics Software Engineer is a critical member of our Technology team. As part of the Technology team the Automation Software team is operating from the Netherlands and the US. Based out of the Netherlands the team forms the Center of Excellence for Lineage Automation Software and together with the US team responsible for the Warehouse Control System. The Warehouse Control System (WCS) is designed and build to support the highly mechanized automated logistics facilities and the full pallet moves in the manual operated facilities. Within the customer software landscape WCS is responsible for location and inventory management layer picking case and pallet transports realtime visualization transport movements combined with transport and storage optimization.

The Logistics Software Engineer will be working on the design development maintenance and support of the WCS solutions within our customer software landscape.

You will be pushing innovations and improvements to create an even better WCS solution to manage and optimize the utilization of the logistics facilities.

Responsibilities

• Work with the core project team to understand the functionality that is needed and how it will be used in an operational setting.
• Design Develop and Maintain the Warehouse Control System
• Project implementation and onsite GoLive support (24/7)
• Important requirements for the function
• A completed education at HBO or University level in a technical direction
• Fluent English both spoken and written
• Solid development skills development skills in C# and .NET (8 years)
• Experience with SQL server
• Conceptual analytical and problemsolving mindset
• Team player with an independent working and thinking attitude
