The Litigation Support Project Manager is responsible for daily coordinating and managing the litigation support and legal technology needs of case teams and clients across multiple matters. The Project Manager will be the central point of contact for attorneys and paralegals and will coordinate multiple tasks, prioritize projects, manage case team expectations and oversee to completion projects both in-house and at vendors. The Project Manager is pro-active, responsive, possesses superior problem solving skills, a high degree of technical skills and outstanding oral and written communication skills. The Project Manager is able to work both with a team or independently, as required, and is able to perform the described duties with little or no supervision. The Project Manager is expected to train and mentor junior staff.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
Promote the use of technology in the practice of law
Provide professional and courteous customer service at all times
Effectively communicate knowledge of process, cost and time related to electronic discovery
Meet with case teams and/or clients and vendors to plan and design technology needs for each matter
Prepare cost and time estimates and case-related budgets, if necessary
Advise and consult on best practices relating to the preservation, collection, processing review and production of electronically stored information (ESI) in discovery
Design and maintain all aspects of litigation support databases in consultation with case teams
Assist to troubleshoot and resolve application and system-related issues, perform application testing, and assist with system maintenance and data management
Provide technical support and training to attorneys and paralegals and assist to develop training materials
Intake, log and track all media, data, client ESI or paper documents received
Process, load, OCR, and index ESI and paper documents in discovery
Review and quality check processed ESI and data and images loaded to databases
Coordinate, track and report status on in-house and outsourced projects
Provide support and database monitoring to case teams during document review
Create document productions and perform production quality checks
Provide support to case teams in preparation for and during hearings, arbitrations and trial
Maintain a case file for each matter per established Department best practices
Timely review, verify and submit invoices for payment
Properly enter time into firms billing system on a weekly basis
Provide case status updates to department Manager as requested
Perform other assignments as required
Protect the Firm and its clients by maintaining strict confidentiality

Education, Skill and Work Experience Requirements:
This position requires a bachelors degree and a minimum of 6 years of relevant experience and training or certification in project management and the advanced use of litigation support and electronic discovery applications, including but not limited to Relativity One, Relativity On-Prem (version 10), TextMap, LiveNote and Sanction. Ability to use MS Access, SQL, scripting languages, batch files and other data, image and file manipulation tools and utilities. RCA certification is preferred. Experience with or advance knowledge of Data Analytics or TAR is preferred. Advanced knowledge with Microsoft Excel is preferred. Advance knowledge of file storage and network systems is preferred. The Project Manager must have law firm experience and thorough knowledge of the litigation process, although significant experience servicing law firms at a service provider or working within a corporate legal department may also be considered.
