Commercial Litigation Associate

Position: Commercial Litigation Associate

Our client is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Commercial Litigation Associate to join their team on a fulltime basis. As a leading provider of legal services we are committed to providing our clients with topnotch representation and are looking for a talented individual to help us achieve this goal.

Responsibilities:

Represent clients in commercial litigation matters including contract disputes business torts and other commercial disputes

Conduct legal research and draft legal documents including pleadings motions and briefs

Manage all aspects of the litigation process including discovery depositions and trial preparation

Communicate with clients and opposing counsel to negotiate settlements and resolve disputes

Attend court hearings and trials as needed

Stay uptodate on legal developments and changes in the law related to commercial litigation

Collaborate with other attorneys and legal staff to provide comprehensive and effective legal services to clients

Assist with business development and marketing efforts to attract new clients and maintain relationships with existing ones

Qualifications:

Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school

Admitted to practice law in the state where the position is located

25 years of experience in commercial litigation preferably at a reputable law firm

Strong analytical and problemsolving skills

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Ability to manage a highvolume caseload and meet deadlines

Proven track record of achieving successful outcomes for clients

Experience with electronic discovery and litigation technology is a plus

Business development and marketing experience is a plus
