21X aims to be the first European DLT exchange.

21X is a Frankfurtbased fintech and is in the process of being authorised as a financial institution that will launch the first ESMAlicensed blockchainbased exchange under the EU DLT regulation DLTR. We are a global team of capital markets digital assets and public blockchain experts with a proven track record of building regulated digital asset exchanges.

Tasks

• Dealing with different legal systems (Austrian German Liechtenstein laws)
• Supervision of all legal matters of the stock exchange
• Support for legal customer care (e.g. customer onboarding)
• Research activities on national and international legal issues
• Analysing the capital market and regulatory issues
• Interface to AML and compliance law firms services at the stock exchange

Requirements

• Degree in law or business law from a European university
• At least 35 years of professional experience in the field of corporate law
• Experience in the financial industry is an advantage
• Sound legal and technical knowledge of crypto assets and digital crypto technology required professional experience in the field an advantage
• Excellent research skills
• Selfinitiative accuracy and the ability to explain legal issues in a way that is understandable to nonlawyers
• Fluency in German and English
