Junior Immigration Attorney

Excellent Immigration law firm is currently seeking a talented and compassionate Junior Immigration Attorney to join its closeknit legal family. Candidates with 14 years of experience in immigration law and fluency in both English and Spanish are encouraged to apply. As part of the team the Junior Immigration Attorney will play a crucial role in guiding clients through the immigration process while providing expert legal counsel and support.

Responsibilities:

  1. Conduct thorough case reviews analyzing client information and documentation to determine eligibility for various immigration benefits.
  2. Represent clients at immigration hearings providing expert legal advocacy and support.
  3. Conduct client consultations discussing immigration options rights and responsibilities in a clear and compassionate manner.
  4. Act as the primary legal advisor for clients offering advice and representation on a range of immigration matters.
  5. Conduct thorough intake interviews with clients understanding their needs and determining their eligibility for different immigration benefits.
  6. Prepare and file immigration petitions applications and supporting documents.
  7. Stay updated on immigration laws and regulations researching and analyzing to ensure strategies align with current standards.
  8. Draft legal documents and briefs for submission to immigration authorities and courts.
  9. Represent clients in interviews hearings and proceedings.
  10. Maintain open communication with clients providing regular updates and addressing concerns.

Qualifications:

  1. Possession of a Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
  2. Admission to the bar where practicing law.
  3. 14 years of solid experience practicing immigration law.
  4. Deep understanding of immigration laws regulations and procedures.
  5. Fluency in both English and Spanish.
  6. Ability to manage multiple cases and tasks while maintaining accuracy.
  7. Commitment to providing exceptional legal services with integrity and professionalism.
