Job Title: Soft Play Attendant


1. Job Summary: As a Soft Play Attendant you will be responsible for supervising and engaging
with children in the soft play area of the trampoline park. Your primary focus will be on ensuring
a safe and enjoyable play experience for all children while adhering to safety guidelines and
maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in the play area.

2. Roles and Responsibilities:

Child Supervision: Supervise children as they play in the soft play area ensuring their safety
and wellbeing at all times and intervening promptly to prevent accidents or conflicts.

Engagement and Interaction: Engage with children in play activities encouraging exploration
creativity and social interaction and providing assistance and encouragement as needed.

Safety Monitoring: Monitor the soft play area for any hazards or safety concerns including
broken equipment loose parts or unsupervised children and take immediate action to address
and rectify any issues.

Crowd Control: Manage the flow of children in and out of the soft play area ensuring that
capacity limits are adhered to and maintaining a safe and orderly environment for play.

First Aid Response: Provide basic first aid and assistance to children in the event of minor
injuries or accidents administering first aid treatments as necessary and alerting management
or emergency services as appropriate.

Cleaning and Maintenance: Perform regular cleaning and maintenance tasks in the soft play
area including sanitizing surfaces organizing toys and equipment and removing debris or spills
to ensure a clean and hygienic environment for play.






Customer Service: Interact with parents and guardians of children providing information

about the soft play area answering questions and addressing any concerns or inquiries in



friendly and professional manner.

Conflict Resolution: Resolve conflicts or disputes between children calmly and diplomatically
using positive reinforcement and conflict resolution techniques to promote cooperation and
mutual respect.

Communication:*Communicate effectively with other staff members and management
providing updates on play area activities safety concerns and any incidents or emergencies as
they arise.

Training and Development: Participate in training sessions and workshops on child safety
first aid and customer service to enhance knowledge and skills in childcare and play area
management.



Requirements

Previous experience working with children in a childcare daycare or recreational setting
preferred.

Knowledge of child development principles and practices with an understanding of age
appropriate play activities and safety considerations.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact effectively with
children parents and colleagues.

Basic first aid and CPR certification required; additional certifications in childcare or early
childhood education preferred.

Patience empathy and a genuine enthusiasm for working with young children with a focus
on providing a positive and nurturing environment for play and learning.

Flexibility to work a variable schedule including evenings weekends and holidays to
accommodate the operating hours and peak times of the trampoline park.

Physical stamina and agility to actively supervise and engage with children in a dynamic play
environment.
