Role and Responsibilities:
- Perform installations repairs and maintenance tasks on diagnostic medical equipment or specific medical devices.
- Inspect test replace and adjust malfunctioning components and parts.
- Keep records of system problems and issues.
- Perform general equipment repairs.
- Perform preventive maintenance.
- Maintain files supplies and parts.
- Maintain knowledge current within the field.
- Perform cost containment measures by sourcing the most costefficient measures to maintain diagnostic equipment.
- Communicate effectively with staff and customers.
- Work with hightech laboratory or diagnostic imaging equipment.
- Maintain regulatory documentation.
Candidate Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience performing corrective and preventive maintenance on hightech diagnostic equipment such as CT and MRI.
Required Skills:
- Exceptional communication and customer service skills.
- Analyze and interpret complex information related to equipment malfunctions.
- Ability to follow complex written instructions and perform tasks.
- Ability to perform during emergency or stressful situations.
- Ability to learn equipment maintenance and repair procedures.
