- Managing accounting and budgetary functions and ensuring the conformity with the reporting requirements and the compliance standards.
- Processing project payments within the approved control system and budget.
- Monitoring actual expenditures against approved donor line items and reporting on a monthly basis to the project manager.
- In coordination with the Finance Director, alerting the management on any potential irregularities and making recommendations.
- In coordination and support of the Finance Director; facilitating audit exercise, participating in preparation of management responses and ensuring timely submission, monitor implementation of audit recommendations.
- Establishing, maintaining and keeping financial records.
- Providing regular and consolidated updates on implementation and budget status to the Finance Director and Project Manager.
