Join our team as a Finance Manager Compliance on an exciting journey in the world of digital marketing. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that our financial practices and procedures comply with all relevant regulations and laws including foreign currency compliance transfer pricing foreign exchange certificates compliance GST compliance compliance with the Permanent Establishment Act and checking client agreements and contracts to safeguard the companys interests. This role involves conducting internal audits implementing compliance policies and providing guidance to the finance team.

On any given day you might
  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive compliance framework to ensure adherence to relevant laws regulations and industry standards.
  • Monitor changes in financial regulations and update internal policies and procedures accordingly.
  • Assess potential compliance risks and implement appropriate controls to mitigate risks effectively.
  • Conduct regular compliance reviews and audits to ensure adherence to established policies and procedures.
  • Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to provide guidance on compliance matters and ensure alignment with regulatory requirements.
  • Develop and deliver training programs to enhance compliance awareness and understanding among employees.
  • Stay updated on evolving regulatory requirements and industry best practices to proactively address potential compliance issues.
  • Lead investigations into compliance violations or suspected fraudulent activities and take appropriate corrective actions.
  • Prepare and submit required regulatory reports accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Maintain effective relationships with regulatory authorities and external auditors.
  • Evaluate financial risks and develop strategies to mitigate them in line with FEMA guidelines.
  • Prepare and submit reports on compliance status including FEMA compliance to senior management.
  • Conduct regular internal audits to assess compliance with established policies including those related to FEMA and foreign currency regulations.
  • Create and update financial compliance policies and procedures addressing foreign currency regulations transfer pricing requirements foreign exchange certificates GST compliance for foreign transactions and the Permanent Establishment Act.
  • Stay abreast of changes in financial regulations including foreign currency compliance GST Compliance Permanent Establishment Act and ensure organizational compliance.
  • Developing reviewing and leading the implementation of new transfer pricing policies or revisions to existing policies.
  • Enhancing governance and controls over the transfer pricing calculation/execution reporting/documentation processes.
  • Thoroughly review client agreements and contracts to ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements.
  • Safeguard the companys interests by identifying and mitigating any compliance risks within contractual obligations.
  • Verify documents such as Aadhar PAN card and necessary certificates to ensure compliance with foreign regulations.
  • Establish and maintain a robust process for document verification in accordance with foreign compliance standards.

The ideal person will
  • Bachelors in finance accounting or a related field. A masters degree or professional certification is a plus.
  • 8 years of experience in finance compliance or risk management preferably within the digital marketing industry or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of financial regulations compliance frameworks and internal control principles.
  • Experience in conducting compliance reviews audits and risk assessments.
  • Familiarity with relevant laws and regulations
  • Excellent analytical and problemsolving skills with a keen attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Proven ability to lead and influence crossfunctional teams to drive compliance initiatives.
  • Ability to work independently manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fastpaced environment.
  • Proficiency in using financial software and MS Office applications.
