Deputy Manager - Supply Chain Planning

Description:

1 Planning and amp; scheduling of Customers orders to ensure ontime deliveries in a most cost optimal manner. Gain proactive visibility into delays and coordinate with production for operation solutions and logistics for efficient transportation route.

2 Determine raw material demand for annual Bid to vendors and track actual demand as against forecast for proactive decisions on RM scheduling and purchases.

3 Develop and implement supply chain strategies to to maintain and optimize inventory levels in external warehouse production planning and . dispatch planning for global manufacturing Plants and Warehouses.

4 Lead demand forecasting efforts to obtain customers demand for rolling period and develop production plans accordingly minimizing stock out and excess inventory.

5 Collaborate with crossfunctional teams including Sales Production Procurement and Logistics to align supply chain activities with business objectives and customer requirements. Ability to interact with Senior Management for critical status updates and decisions.

6 Ability to work with SAP/MRP system to drive efficiency and accuracy in supply chain.

7 Maintain and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) related to supply chain planning such as ontime delivery inventory ageing plant capacity utilization and forecast accuracy and implement corrective actions as needed.

8 Identify opportunities for process improvement and cost reduction within the supply chain implementing best practices and driving continuous improvement initiatives.9Ability to frame and implement SOPs for process standardization and efficiency improvement.
