- Assist customers in obtaining financing for vehicle purchases by evaluating creditworthiness preparing loan applications and negotiating financing terms with lending institutions.
- Offer and sell insurance products such as extended warranties gap insurance and vehicle protection plans to customers.
- Explain insurance coverage details terms and benefits to customers addressing any questions or concerns they may have.
- Ensure compliance with federal state and local regulations related to automotive financing and insurance.
- Stay updated on changes in regulations and implement necessary adjustments to maintain compliance.
- Ensure accuracy in paperwork including loan agreements insurance policies and other relevant documents.
- Interact with customers professionally and courteously guiding them through the financing and insurance processes.
- Maximize revenue opportunities by promoting additional finance and insurance products to customers.
- Build and maintain positive relationships with lending institutions insurance providers and other relevant partners.
- Assess the risk associated with financing applications considering factors such as credit history income and debttoincome ratio.
- Analyze financial statements credit reports and other relevant financial data to determine the creditworthiness of customers.
- Stay informed about industry trends changes in financing practices and new insurance products.
- Collaborate with other departments such as sales customer service and finance to ensure a coordinated and efficient workflow.
- Address and resolve customer concerns or disputes related to financing and insurance matters.
- Ensure the security and confidentiality of customer financial information and adhere to data protection policies.
- Prepare reports on F&I performance including key metrics sales data and financial outcomes.
Requirements
- Bachelors degree in Finance Business Administration Accounting Economics or a related field. Masters degree or relevant certifications is a plus point.
- Proficiency in Bahasa Melayu and English.
- Familiarity with regulations and compliance standards related to automotive financing and insurance.
- Experience specifically within the automotive industry or working with automotive financing and insurance products is highly beneficial.
- Knowledge of and adherence to regulatory requirements and compliance standards related to automotive financing and insurance.
- Strong financial analysis skills to assess creditworthiness evaluate financial statements and determine appropriate financing terms.
- Excellent customer service skills to interact with customers address inquiries and guide them through financing and insurance processes.
- Sales and negotiation skills to sell financing effectively and insurance products to customers.
- Ability to customize financing and insurance packages to meet individual customer needs.
- Commitment to ethical business practices especially when dealing with sensitive financial and personal information.
- Strong attention to detail to ensure accuracy in financial calculations and documentation.
- Familiarity with financial software customer relationship management (CRM) systems and other relevant tools.
- Collaboration with sales customer service and other departments to ensure a seamless customer experience.
- Ability to identify and resolve issues related to financing and insurance processes.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, Automotive Engineering, or a related field. A master's degree may be preferred. - Proficiency in Bahasa Melayu and English. - Proficiency in Mandarin would be a plus point but not mandatory. - Extensive experience in after-sales service management within the automotive industry. - Proven track record of progressively responsible roles, including leadership and managerial positions. - Familiarity with automotive after-sales service processes, including maintenance, repairs, spare parts management, and warranty services. - Proven experience in strategic planning, organizational development, and change management. - Ability to develop and implement strategies to enhance customer loyalty and address customer concerns effectively. - Strong financial management skills, including budgeting, cost control, and revenue optimization. - Experience in optimizing the procurement process for spare parts and services. - Strong analytical skills to assess performance metrics, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions. - Effective problem-solving skills to address challenges in after-sales operations. - Familiarity with automotive technology and the ability to leverage technology solutions for process optimization. - Experience in implementing and managing software systems relevant to after-sales services.
