- Provide input for budget requirements, materials needed, and class schedules.
- Advise installation and unit commanders on matters pertaining to programs and other general matters in the field of education.
- Conduct educational needs and interest surveys and develop program in accordance with results and make recommendations for changes.
- Prepare briefings to explain programs, policies, and changes.
- Counsel military personnel regarding educational goals, providing guidance on the establishment/planning of educational goals.
