The Deputy Manager (Mortgage Home Loans) serves as a Team Leader responsible for achieving team targets ensuring employee retention and optimizing efficiency within the assigned geography. They play a vital role in motivating and engaging the team to drive performance and meet organizational objectives.

Responsibilities:

  1. Area/Geography Mapping:

    • Allocate geography at the team level and collaborate with team members on mapping strategies.
    • Conduct regular audits and reviews of area mapping progress sharing reports with superiors for assessment.
  2. Source Relationship Management:

    • Manage relationships with all sources within the teams geographic area fostering strong partnerships to drive business growth.
  3. Joint Calls:

    • Conduct daily joint calls with the team comprising source visits and sales calls to provide guidance and support in client interactions.
  4. Channel Partner Recruitment:

    • Identify and empanel channel partners to expand the network and enhance business opportunities within the assigned geography.
  5. Team Huddle:

    • Conduct daily team huddles in accordance with established processes ensuring effective communication and alignment of objectives.
  6. Team Review:

    • Implement and review sales processes Loan Management System (LMS) procedures and daily functions of all team members to optimize performance and adherence to standards.
  7. HSPL Hub Coordination:

    • Coordinate with the credit team regarding loan applications logged into the system providing updates to team members and ensuring seamless collaboration between departments.


Requirements

  • Proven experience in mortgage or home loan sales with demonstrated leadership capabilities.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective team management and relationship building.
  • Sound knowledge of sales processes channel partner recruitment and geographic mapping strategies.
  • Ability to conduct joint calls facilitate team huddles and drive performance reviews.
  • Proficiency in coordinating with internal teams particularly credit departments to expedite loan processing.
