Tasks

About the role:

As a Delivery Lead youll be part of a client team building innovative products. We expect you to be curious passionate driven and enthusiastic You will play a crucial role in ensuring the success of our software engineering projects being proficient at problemsolving and helping craft scalable resilient and faulttolerant architectures. Youll be an effective communicator and a team player. You and your team will move in a fastpaced engineering environment achieving outstanding results and delivering exciting projects.

About You:

A YLD Software Delivery Lead is a highlyskilled person who exemplifies the highest standard in software engineering and enjoys sharing their knowledge and experience with others.

Youll have the opportunity to build and deliver software within some interesting projects both in terms of the product and the methodology. We work in an Agile environment (Scrum) with a testfirst mindset (actually writing code without tests should be unthinkable). We are also big advocates of pair programming and nothing is released until we have a code review.

You have a real passion for problemsolving and are an active learner who gets excited by working collaboratively with those around you.

Requirements

Your daytoday responsibilities will look like this:

Facilitating and leading agile ceremonies including sprint planning daily standups sprint reviews and retrospectives;

  • Collaborating with crossfunctional teams to remove impediments and promote continuous improvement;
  • Championing Agile principles and practices to create a culture of transparency accountability and teamwork;
  • Supporting and coaching development teams in the adoption of Agile and Scrum practices;
  • Working closely with Product Owners and Client Partners to prioritize and groom the product backlog;
  • Stay uptodate with the latest trends and incorporate best practices;
  • Assist in the evaluation of new technologies and tools to improve the development process;
  • Participating in regular show and tells to promote your work to both your department and the wider company.

Youll have the following skills and experience:

  • Commercial experience as a Scrum Master in a software development environment;
  • Strong understanding of Agile principles and methodologies;
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills;
  • Ability to lead and motivate crossfunctional teams;
  • Strong problemsolving skills;
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to producing highquality solutions.

  • Selfmotivated proactive and always looking for ways to improve and develop yourself;
  • A good communicator both in writing and verbally. Youll be able to explain technical ideas and concepts in businessfriendly language;
  • Detail oriented;
