About the yacht

26 m private Motor yacht currently based in Malta, Malta flag with 2 Caterpillar.

3 guests cabines and 2 crew cabines. The yacht is currently private but they are about to change it to commercial and plan to do 6 weeks of charter as of next year.

The project

We look for a COUPLE , captain engineer + stew(possible cook) for this private/charter yacht planning to move between med, Red Sea, and Indian Ocean in September 2023 .

The yacht will spent a few weeks in the shipyard this winter for a small refit then will go to Turkey around March next year.
The family has children in various age and they have a nanny looking after the kids.

The boat is an explorer vessel under Maltese flag, with 2 caterpillar of 400hp, cruising at 10 knots in excellent condition, your first job is to keep her in this condition and to ensure a safe and pleasant navigation for the owners. The boat has very good volumes surprisingly bigger than usual yacht of this size.

There will be a permanent crew of 2 for the private usage and 4 crew in total for the charter season.

Plus would be diving, surfing, vegetarian cooking, any martial art. The job is available immediately but we can wait if a good candidate need time to finish his/her current job.

The owner is very meticulous and demanding overall on the technical state of the boat and equipments, be prepared to show how you worked on previous boat and to constantly support and keep the boat in perfect state.

Desired profile

We are looking for a couple :

• Fluency in English is mandatory.
• STCW and ENG1 are compulsory.
• Captain 500 with medical 3 minimum for the captain.
• Good knowledge in electricity and general maintenance are required and also a some cuisine skills.

Salary: 6000 for the captain and 3500 for the stew/cook + insurance + 2 flights payed per year for the vacations
