Controls Engineer

This is an exciting opportunity for a Controls Engineer to join our team and contribute to the development of cutting-edge automotive blanking line systems.

Responsibilities:

• Programming PLCs (Siemens, Allen-Bradley, etc.), HMIs and equipment controllers.
  
• Read electrical circuit diagrams, mechanical process schematics and work with customers to develop machine controls.
  
• Test and validate controls programs with final products.
  
• Participate in project teams and the development of new products.
  
• Read, understand, and interpret mechanical prints.
  

Requirements

• Siemens Programming experience Step 7 and TIA portal.
  
• Some travel to customer sites required. - some local
  
• Interested in learning and growing new skills quickly.
  
• Experience in electronic design with electronic circuit technology assembly processes (analog, digital and/or high voltage design) is a bonus.
  
• Familiar with electrical engineering design principles and methodologies.
  
• Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical/Control Engineering preferred. Experience is acceptable in lue of degree
  
• Experience with KUKA robots is a plus
