WHO IS OUR CLIENT

Our client is part of a renowned property management group in London known for its exceptional service and extensive portfolio of corporate and retail tenants. Over the last 30 years the Group has serviced the world s bluechip corporate and retail tenants whilst undertaking the design construction and management of the evergrowing Estate.

The team manages all aspects of the Build to Rent assets on the Estate as well as the initial management during the final construction programme and handover period.

Our client is dedicated to providing a superlative service to residents 24 hours a day and 365 days per year. They are looking for a Continental Shift Engineer to join their existing team working a shift pattern of days and nights.

JOB SUMMARY

Reporting directly to the Manager Operations the Continental Shift Engineer ensures that residents (tenants) have the best rental experience and consistently delivers the highest levels of customer service becoming a brand ambassador for our client.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Identify and diagnose faults and carry out repairs adjustments and other maintenance works as appropriate.
  2. Carry out routine servicing repair or adjustment of plant or machinery in accordance with the planned maintenance schedule or as tasked by the Manager Operations.
  3. Adopt a flexible approach to other skills or trades to ensure costeffective completion of tasks.
  4. Undertake other skilled tasks as demonstrated.
  5. Monitor plant and record data using supplied documentation.
  6. Maintain the highest possible standard of plant and equipment efficiency.
  7. Assist in ensuring all working areas are clean and tidy and remove refuse and waste materials as appropriate.
  8. Undertake physical lifting and activities as required.
  9. Comply with the Companys "Health & Safety" policy and procedures and report any hazards or infringements to the Manager Operations.
  10. Complete time/task sheets on a daily basis.
  11. Undertake any other reasonable duties as requested by the Manager Operations.

All staff are required to fulfil their legal duty to take reasonable care for the health and safety of themselves and others who may be affected by their acts and omissions and to follow all guidance and instructions given in this respect. ENVIRONMENTAL RESPONSIBILITIES

All staff are required to follow environmental policies for waste minimisation and effective energy management.

QUALITY MANAGEMENT RESPONSIBILITIES

All staff are required to comply with quality management system requirements and ensure effective implementation to meet quality standards.


Requirements

  1. Previous experience in a modern building services maintenance environment with a basic understanding of HVAC and building services.
  2. Completion of a fulltime apprenticeship in electrical or Building Services HVAC discipline.
  3. Competency in Information Technology and Building Management Systems.
  4. Tidy presentable enthusiastic and positive attitude.
  5. Ability to work as a team member and communicate effectively.
  6. Customerfocused and diplomatic.
  7. Ability to make decisions for the benefit of the business.
  8. Ability to work at heights outdoors for some Maintenance Operators.
  9. Appreciation of the importance of customer service in the context of our client.
