Chief Risk officer

Key Result Areas expected of the role:

1. The CRO shall support the Board in establishing comprehensive and robust risk management governance and control framework including risk policies an integrated risk management approach defining risk appetite of the Companys and ensure capital adequacy in proportion to the complexity and inherent risks in the business while conforming to all statutory guidelines of the RBI. The risk framework should be robust enough for identification assessment measurement monitoring and mitigation of all types of risks on an ongoing basis.
2. Identify evaluate and quantify risks across various business lines including all Pillar 1 risks (credit risk market risk operational risk) and Pillar 2 risks (including outsourcing risk liquidity risk information security risk etc). Conduct comprehensive analysis of Companys asset portfolios to assess credit quality valuation of security receipts potential impairments and ensure adequate provisions are made in line with the underlying risk profile of the asset.
3. Implement systems and controls / dashboards for ongoing monitoring of risks and apprise the Board of Directors (BoD) / Risk Monitoring Committee of the BoD and the senior management of the companys of the risk profile.
4. Ensure compliance to all risk related policies.
5. Oversee the asset purchase and sale processes and ensure thorough due diligence in the acquisition and resolution of distressed assets.
6. Continuously develop enhance and embed the risk framework for managing risks across the company ensuring that controls and processes are adequate.
