Job Description
- Professional certifications relevant to the role, such as:
- Microsoft Certified: Azure Security Engineer Associate
- Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert
- CompTIA Security+
- (ISC)² Certified Cloud Security Professional (CCSP)
- Experience with Azure cloud services, with a strong understanding of Azure Active Directory, Azure Policy, Azure Key Vault, Azure Monitor, and other Azure management and security services.
- Proven track record of securing Azure environments, including experience with implementing security controls, identity and access management, and network security within Azure.
- Knowledge of cloud security frameworks and standards such as CIS Benchmarks, NIST, ISO 27001, and familiarity with compliance requirements relevant to the industry (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA).
- Experience in scripting and automation using PowerShell, Azure CLI, ARM templates, or Terraform for efficient management and configuration of cloud resources.
- Strong understanding of network security and experience with Azure network services and security features such as Azure Firewall, VPN Gateway, and Azure Front Door.
- Experience with implementing and managing threat detection and response solutions in Azure, using tools like Azure Sentinel or Azure Security Center.
- Knowledge of containerization and Kubernetes, especially security practices and tools related to Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) and container instances.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure to troubleshoot and resolve security issues.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work closely with clients and internal teams to assess security needs, recommend solutions, and implement security best practices
