Automation Technician - Night Shift - Full Time - Caseyville, IL

Join the Maintenance & Reliability Team at our Caseyville Prepared Foods plant.

Client is currently in the process of expanding our operations in Caseyville with an $181 million dollar investment to add 7 new state of the art production lines to our current 4 production lines.

With automated warehousing and robotics at the heart of this expansion the facility will be a Flagship of the Prepared Foods division. The facility currently produces Jimmy Dean and Hillshire branded retail products and the expansion will further develop our capabilities.

SUMMARY:

This position requires proficiency in the following areas; read and interpret electrical and mechanical blueprints; electrical troubleshooting; PLC programming and troubleshooting; read and interpret various measuring devices such as gauges, calipers, indicators and micrometers;

REQUIREMENTS:

Education: Training beyond high school including either an Associate

(A.S.) degree in Automation and/or Electronics Technology (or closely related technical

field), or a combination of education and experience which may include

skilled trades programs or military training.

Experience: 2+ years of experience in a related field; industrial automation experience required; electrical and mechanical industrial maintenance experience required.

Computer Skills: Standard computer skills; must have strong skills in

document organization, the use of technical materials, and research

techniques. Must either be proficient or become proficient in SAP

Maintenance.

Communication Skills: Must be able to communicate verbally and in

writing with all team members.

Supervisory: N/A
