Job Responsibilities:

Oversee and assist all activities of hotel maintenance operations

Perform and direct preventative maintenance programs/repairs for equipment guest rooms and hotel grounds

Secure and oversee outside contractors to handle more complicated equipment and building repairs

Perform repairs of minor mechanical electrical HVAC plumbing and buildingrelated components

Maintain pool and spa according to the company the property brand and state and local codes

Maintain outdoor appearance including lawn landscaping and parking lot

Follow and ensure that Policies and Procedures of the Hotel Operations are followed

Analyze and report operations performance and make suggestions to improve such findings

Ensure compliance with hotel and brand regulations

Ensure control/protection of company assets

Supervise the other maintenance staff and delegate tasks daily as needed

Perform other duties as assigned by General Manager and/or the property owner

Requirements:

Must be at least 18 years of age

A minimum of one year in a maintenance position or relevant experience required

Must be able to stand for the majority of the shift

Ability to use tools and standard maintenance equipment

Ability to work nights weekends and holidays as required and/or as needed

Ability to take ownership of your environment

Maintain a professional appearance at all times

Ability to work effectively independently and/or with minimal supervision
