Emergency/urgent care veterinarians needed for busy and growing specialty and emergency practice in Wilder KY. Parttime or full time positions available. Currently a traditional afterhours and 24hour weekend emergency practice with flexible rotating shifts but looking to expand to daytime emergency/urgent care hours in the near future to serve the demand for care. Multiple positions available from MF daytime hours to evenings overnights and weekends for fullflexibility and small number of shifts per week. Emergency doctors have access to oncall consultations with boardcertified specialists in internal medicine dermatology and surgery. Laboratory digital radiography endoscopy ultrasound and CT available on site. Work with a caring and dedicated staff in a small family atmosphere. Ideal candidate has great leadership and communication skills with staff and clients. Empathy and a passion for excellent veterinary medicine and patient care are required. New graduates as well as seasoned veterinarians are invited to apply. High quality mentorship is available and new graduates will not be left alone until fully confident and ready to do so. We want you to succeed!
We are open 24hrs on weekends and all major holidays. Once we fully expand the emergency department will be 24/7. Everyone from our Doctors and Technicians to our Reception staff has been specially selected by GCVS not only for their superior technical and communication skills but for their compassion for our patients.
Requirements
- Doctor of Veterinary degree or equivalent from an accredited university
- Current DEA License or obtained upon hire
- Active Veterinary State License
