Job Description :
AS400 iSeries Developer with 9 yrs experiences
Developer should 10 Years over all experience.
Minimum 3 Years programming in an AS400 / iSeries / IBM I Environment.
Experience in development & efficient designs.
Good to have working knowledge on ILE Concepts.
Troubleshoot problems related to RPG iSeries programs and reports.
Monitor Job Loads Perform periodic housing keep of log files
Work on assigned support and enhancement tickets
Remote monitoring Disk space management
Planned Maintenance Activity support
Trouble shooting performance issue
User groups & Privilege Management
Support Iseries environment and the associated Application using it ( Island Pacific Manhattan & JDA)
Support the interfaces/integrations to other systems
The scope is only restricted to support the applications not the AS 400 Infrastructure
Work on all the support/enhancement tickets which are in the queue
On call support to be covered Including weekends.
Document the current process and create the runbook for supporting Iseries.
Bring automation to reduce some manual work in the Iseries world.
