Opportunity with CMW Geoscience
Our Albion office in Brisbane is looking to hire an experienced office administrator/project assistant. You will be reporting to the Brisbane Manager responsible for providing general office administration support to the QLD Admin/Accounts team as well as project level support to the Project Teams and assisting the Brisbane Manager to achieve QHSE targets.
Some of your other duties will include:
- Daytoday administration support including but not limited to answering transferring phone calls responding to emails photocopying scanning and binding
- Local HR support as required such as preparing the office for the arrival of new staff training new staff on systems and processes and encouraging a good workplace culture
- Organising couriers flights accommodation and vehicle hire for both Overheads and Projects as well as tracking the receipts
- Selfmotivated and able to take initiative in a fastpaced office environment
- Assist in maintaining vehicles including but not limited to organising repairs and services record keeping and updating the registers
- Support the Project Teams and undertake activities related to project work and the delivery of projects including but not limited to:
- Data entry management and document control
- Assist with subcontractor coordination dial before you dig and raising and tracking Purchase Orders
- Support Project teams with Client and project requirements for system setup
- Any other administration duties in support of the Brisbane office and the wider CMW group as directed by the Brisbane Manager and the Qld Admin/Accounts Team Leader
To be eligible we are looking for the following:
- 2 years of experience in all areas of office administration within a professional services environment
- Previous experience working in an engineering office environment or experience in a forwardfacing customer service or client relations role
- Positive cando attitude where you are willing to help where needed
- Exceptional organisation and communication skills both verbal and written
- A high standard of accuracy and attention to detail
